Gates

Gates are a device that is used as tool to cut-off flow of material, to regulate the flow in approximate manner, to divert the material flow from one stream to another, as shut off door.

They are referred as valves sometime depending of its application. There are different type of valves as listed below. The valves are manually operated, mechanically operated, hydraulically pneumatically operated. They can be linked with other processes through inter locking.

The valves can be designed to connect circular, square or rectangular opening as per requirement.

The material of construction depends on application and material handled. These may be M.S., C.S., S.S., Engineering polymers or combination.
